What is the Canadian Pond Hockey Face Off about?

The Canadian Pond Hockey Face Off is a partnership between various community partners and continues to grow each year: Canadore College, City of North Bay, Brownlee Graphics and Dawstar Television Productions. Sponsorship was obtained through the generousity of many businesses and individuals in the community.

Participants from all over North America are welcome

Our goal is to have the best pond hockey tournament in Canada. There are four unique aspects of our tournament: the tournament takes place on a ‘real pond’; we have age categories from children to adult; we play 3 on 3 games; and our games have face offs.

To celebrate pond hockey as part of our Canadian heritage, returning to the grassroots of the game while enjoying outdoor exercise and team play.
